How Township works
Township combines city building with farming and production. You grow crops, feed animals, craft goods in factories, and use those items to fill train, plane, and town orders.
The key idea is balance. A nice town needs homes and community buildings, but steady progress also depends on keeping fields, animals, factories, and storage working together.
02
City building basics
Place buildings with future expansion in mind. Keep important factories and fields easy to find, and leave space around community buildings so you can rearrange roads and decorations later.
- Group similar buildings so production areas are easy to scan.
- Use decorations when they make the town feel clear, not crowded.
- Save enough room for new factories, homes, and public buildings as levels open.
03
Farming and crop production
Crops support animal feed, factory recipes, train crates, plane cargo, and many town orders. Short crops are useful when you are actively playing; longer crops are helpful before a break.
A steady farming routine prevents factories from stopping because one basic ingredient is missing.
04
Factories and goods
Factories turn raw materials into more valuable goods. The best beginner habit is to keep common ingredients available while leaving some queue space for order-specific items.
- Start longer recipes before closing the game.
- Do not spend every ingredient on one complex product unless an important order needs it.
- Check upcoming train and plane requirements before filling casual orders.
05
Trains, planes, and orders
Transport tasks give Township structure. Trains often help with expansion materials, planes ask for batches of goods, and helicopter orders can be useful when they match your inventory.
It is fine to skip or delay orders that would drain essential goods. Progress usually feels better when storage stays flexible.
06
Events and seasonal activities
Events add variety and short-term goals. Treat them as optional fun, especially if you are still learning the core town, farm, and factory loops.
Before committing resources to an event, check whether your trains and factories still have what they need for regular progress.

Township may include optional in-app purchases depending on store availability and account settings. Purchases are a personal choice, and users should review prices, permissions, and family controls in their app store account.
This site does not sell in-game items, offer rewards, or process payments.
